The Palace Touring Music Film Festival
Palace Cinemas, in partnership with Young Henrys, is proud to present our very first, PALACE TOURING: 2019 MUSIC FILM FESTIVAL, a series of the most iconic music feature films from the past 40 years.
Combining a variety of musical and cinematic genres, but all united in the myriad of emotion and life that music brings.
With special events between August 1 – 14 hosted by Young Henrys for our Opening & Closing Nights (with a complimentary beer or cider on arrival!), opening with the Australian Premiere of the new stunning 4K restoration of Oliver Stone’s THE DOORS: THE FINAL CUT, and closing with the brand new music documentary, THE CHILLS: THE TRIUMPH & TRAGEDY OF MARTIN PHILLIPPS, hot off the heels from its screenings at SXSW and Sydney Film Festival – we’re also thrilled to bring fifteen other feature films back to cinema screens the only way they should be experienced, loud and with an audience!
