Mercato on Byron is open seven days a week. Individual retailer hours may vary. Trading hours may vary on public holidays. Please check with individual retailers for confirmation.

Lost Property
For enquiries regarding lost property, please contact Centre Management via the ‘Contact Us’ page. Visitors are encouraged to contact individual stores that may keep lost property at their service desk.
Disability Access,
Amenities & Services
The parent’s room and accessible toilets are located on level 1, behind Surfit Gym. Accessible parking bays are available in Basement Level 1, conveniently located adjacent to Woolworths Direct to Boot. These bays are wider than standard spaces for ease of access.

Mercato on Byron is easily accessible via local bus, taxi and ride-share services and is located on Jonson Street, one of Byron Bay’s main north–south routes connecting Byron’s iconic Main beach with the town’s major retail core.
Travel By Bus
For all train and bus timetable inquiries, contact 131 500 or visit the Transport NSW website.
The main bus stop is located on Butler Street.
Best access from the centre is via Railway Park.
All bus complaints should be directed to Transport NSW.
Travel by Taxi
A dedicated taxi rank is located outside the main entrance
near Bed Bath N’ Table.
Byron Bay Taxis operates locally and can be reached
on 6685 5008.

Accessible Parking
& Parents with Prams
Mercato offers accessible parking bays and “Parents with Prams” bays on both Basement Levels 1 and 2. These bays are wider than standard spaces and are located close to centre entrances for ease of access.

The car park has a height clearance of 2.20 m.
Vehicles exceeding this height should use surrounding paid street parking,
subject to availability.

Palace Cinema customers can enjoy
3 hours of free* parking

Parking Payments
Pay stations are located at the base of the moving walkway in Basement Level 1 parking and adjacent to the lift on B1.
Payment is available via Tap-and-Go. Cash payments are not accepted.
